Fabrics from Suzuko Koseki! Thanks to Ayumills {PINK PENGUIN}

YIPPIE!!! New Fabrics to play around! 

Remember sometimes ago I join a online project that organised by PINK PENGUIN 19 of us participated in the project to sew a coaster with assigned alphabet (mine was "E" to a famous fabric designer - Suzuko Koseki. And that was a fun experience for me to get to know so many craft friends far abroad my country. And after we completed sewing, we have to deliver the coaster to Japan and Ayumi will collect total of 19 coasters and give to Suzuko Koseki. And it was fate that linked me to the project, as we can also sew with SSuzuko Koseki, and I really have one of her fabric, it was a souvenir from my friend when he went for his Japan trip! And Suzuko Koseki was really happy with the present! 

(Actually I received the fabric on early Marc, just forgot to check my mailbox lol)

And she gave many of her fabrics to Ayumi, and Ayumi send the fabrics to all of us that involved in the project!

新年咯，HOYOYI在這裡祝大家心想事成，身體健康！縫紉機昨天晚上和我鬧彆扭，我看它是向我投訴它要放假啦，好啦，就送它去修理/維修啦～

I ♥ Lace | 我 ♥ 蕾絲

我相信很多人都和我一樣很愛蕾絲。我也收集了一些些。之前都用軟紙皮隨便剪出一個線軸的形狀就卷起來，放進櫃子裡。自從我做了給線兒們的布紙板後，我昨晚又手癢了，把模畫在硬紙皮上然後剪了很多張來收我的蕾絲。果然漂亮了很多，又不用花錢買那些美美的卡來收。我的紙皮的素質也是一級棒的。收拾好後整個人心情馬上開心起來 {蕾絲的法力！}

如果你們也一樣煩惱不懂如何要收藏你們的蕾絲，你們可以下載這個pdf圖。直接打印出來，或者沒打印機的話，就用薄薄的紙放在電腦熒幕上透過光畫出來然，貼在紙皮上剪出來就行了。那個小紙皮盒是之前有人送娃娃給我的包裝盒，我慶幸我沒把它丟掉。你也可以放在藤籃裡啊，或自己做布盒。哦，對了，我的蕾絲都是在maymayshop 買的。她有很多美美的蕾絲～

I think many of you are just like me, cannot resist with beautiful lace. I do collect some. Previously I was just using some thin card simply cut out a cardboard and roll my lace on top.Since I have made fabric cardboard for thread, my itchy hand start draw the shape on hard cardboard and I have cut a lot of them to keep my lace. After arrange all my lace, they look so pretty now, and I do not need to spend money to buy the pretty cards from online store. My cardboard quality is very good one. You will feel so satisfy and happy right after you arrange them nicely. {the magic of lace!} 

If you are also having issue of do not know how to keep your lace, you can download this pdf pattern, just print out and cut. or if yo do not have printer, use a think paper put on your monitor screen and trace the outline, stick on your cardboard and cut them out. The cardboard box was the packaging from my friend, she use it to deliver a doll for me, and I am glad that I didn't throw it away. You can also put into those rattan basket, or make your own fabric basket. Ohh, btw, allf my lace were purchased through maymayshop she sell many pretty lace!

My simple tutorial / 我的簡易教學，希望你們看得明白

我的縫紉小站，真的很小，原本想買多一張桌子，但是我住的是一方式公寓，多一張桌子我就更多東西放，桌子的對面是我的窩{床}所以還是打消了這個念頭。剛剛買了新的小櫃來裝我的阿布布。之前都是放在那個橙褐色的箱子，但是很不方便，每次都要翻啊，找啊的。拿了又要再放回去。

終於去買了這個很划算的小櫃，馬幣53.90。在T霸級市場買的，我扛回家有點吃力。

好久都沒裝櫃了，敢敢醬就報銷了一支螺丝刀。然後我又手癢，看到那個門的手把是灰色的就是篤眼篤鼻，

買了罐白漆，噴掉它。花了很多很多時間整理我的阿布布。

上面那隻熊是好友eefee送我的娃娃，我從來都不收娃娃的唯有這只小灰泰迪我們一看到就愛上，

她買了3只，這只小灰泰迪是我要求的生日禮物。

那個大的籃子也是在T霸級市場買的，馬幣5.45美麗吧。。。呵呵呵～然後裡面裝了我的刺繡框，包扣和拉鍊，還有蘑菇送我的AUDREY ^ ^

小籃子裝的是我的線兒們，不敢買多，沒得收，麻煩。旁邊是我做的杯子蛋糕針插。

上層是格子布，點點布，動物系列

第二層是花布，和普通給我配圖案的棉布

第三層是棉麻，防滑布還有包裝用的布。{旁邊是我縫壞了的小鞋鞋}

下層的白盒是裝比較大片的碎布。然後餅乾盒就裝了小碎布。旁邊是蕾絲姐妹～

我的縫紉機，重量不輕，桌子有點陷下去，所以我都推去一旁。醬也好，我才可以放我的筆電。

左邊是我的書+手作書，有好友麗香幫我買到的桌燈，不然我很快會失明。然後還有Mr.J送給我的小雲。

ikea買的藤籃裝了我的彈性塑膠，一點紙型，書啊。

旁邊是我的最常用的工具箱。然後是筆盒。

牆上放了些我喜歡的照片，明信片。eefee畫的插圖。

桌下的白盒是工具。然後橙褐色的箱子上層是素色棉麻。下層是還沒整理的cotton flannel。下面還有兩個工具箱沒整理好。。。放著先 XP。。。

還沒買到和我心意的vintage椅子，唯有用上個屋主留下來的椅子。用棉麻縫了個套子，那個坐垫是在daiso買的布的來源。

My sewing corner, it is very small, I suppose to purchase another table, but due to I am staying at a studio apartment, and I will put more things if I have extra table. And opposite the table is my bed… at the end, I decided not to buy. I just purchase a small cabinet for my fabrics, before that I kept my fabrics in the orange box it is not convenience at all. Every time I will have to dig and find my fabric.

Finally I got this reasonable cabinet at RM53.90 at T Hypermarket. It is quite heavy when I carry it back, It has been ages that I didn’t fix any cabinet. And I did spoil a screwdriver :p and my itchy hand cannot stand with the grey handle, I bought a white spray can and spray on it.

I spent a lot of time to fold all the fabrics.

The teddy bear on top was from my best friend – eefee. It was fall on the first sight when we saw the teddy bear. She bought total of 3, and that was my birthday present that I request from her.

The big basket was from T hypermarket, RM5.45, not bad, rite? My embroidery frame and cover buttons and zippers are inside the basket. And pretty Audrey from Tako.

I kept my threads in the small basket that I bought from daiso. Next to it is the cupcake pin cushion that I made.

1^st layer – checked fabric, polka dots and animal series

2^nd layer – floral prints and other cotton for matching.

3^rd layer – linen, anti slipped fabric & fabric for packaging. My error sewing booties and ex booties are beside it.

Lower layer – the white box is for fabric scrap in large size, and the biscuit can was filled with plenty of little fabric scraps. And my lace collection.

My sewing machine is quite heavy, so I push it to aside and I can put my laptop beside. On the left you can see my books + craft books. The table lamp that Leesiang bought for me, or else I will be blind very soon. And the Arale that Mr.J bought for me.

The ikea basket was filled with elastic rubber, my pattern and notes.

Beside it is the tool box that I frequently use, any pencil box.

I hang some photos, postcards that I like and eefee’s illustration.

The white box under the table is my tools box, and the upper orange box is with my linen fabric, and underneath are cotton flannel that I am yet to tidy. And another two tools box that yet to tidy up XP

I am yet to get a vintage chair that I love, so I still using the stool from ex tenant, I sew a seat cushion case for it.The seat cushion was purchase from daiso. Fabric from here 

For thread | 給線兒們

有些十字布的線都放着沒收好，今天看到了一個可愛教學就嘗試一下。真的不容易，我花了超過一個小時來完成3個。兩面都用了不同的布～

I have some cross stitch thread that I did not keep them nicely, and I saw a tutorial from the small project and I decided to give it a try. And I must say, is not easy job, it takes me more than 1 hour to finished all three of them, they are two sided in different fabrics

I love my weekend with cozy weather, with sewing project that I love, with food that I love, with series that I love and with people and friends that I love. The coaster was made for one of my customer, she is also a friend of mine. I really love this fabric and the stitches pattern really look like real!!!


These are the cutie hairclips I am busy with, these are Raya presents for my colleagues daughter. Aren't they cute? ^ ^



And this is the one that I will be busy with. Is a patchwork project. Love the polka dots fabrics that I cut. They look so sweet. Will make sure my finishing product will be as sweet like cupcake.

I made this keychain, using fabric buttons, hook and fabrics that I like. Simple and I really like it ^ ^

my rubber stamp

Finally I start using my rubber stamp. I purchased this rubber stamp from my dear friend - Gianni GIGI PLANET She is a fun crafter that good in rubber stamp and miniature doll house.

And thanks to evangelione helped me to get my dream brown paper ^ ^

wip {work in progress}

I just came back from Singapore trip & Malacca trip. It was quite rushing, but it is always good that you can always spent time together with good companion. I even went to Marina Bay Sand the latest casino, looking at the huge crowd makes me worries of more family will suffer very soon. Malacca is very very hot, I hope i will go again soon with more well plan ^ - ~

My wip work. I love the cutie fabrics so much!!! I will continue to work on it. Must deliver before my dateline. :p

Happy Labor Day

Noted that some of you are not working, as due to labor day fall on Saturday, some of the company replace the holiday on FRIDAY >_< how much I wish I can get extra holiday like that!

Last night I cut a few sets of fabrics & iron them accordingly, this weekend will be my sewing weekend.
